The Four Tortas
Torta Mexa ($10.99), Ham Torta ($9.98), Sausage Torta ($9.98), and Chorizo Torta ($10.99): one built around carnitas, three built around a fried egg, so there's a torta whether you're in the mood for a classic carnitas sandwich or something closer to a hearty breakfast plate between two pieces of bread.
What's on Each One
The Torta Mexa has carnitas, pico de gallo, avocado, mayo and green salsa. The Ham Torta has egg, ham, avocado, caramelized and fresh onion, lettuce, tomato and mayo. The Sausage Torta has egg, sausage, caramelized and fresh onion, avocado, lettuce, tomato and mayo. And the Chorizo Torta has egg, chorizo, refried beans, mayo, caramelized and fresh onion.
Lunch-Sized, Not a Snack
Every torta is built as a full lunch on its own: enough bread, filling, and toppings that you won't need a side to make it a meal, though rice, beans, or a salsa on the side never hurt. Add an agua fresca or a glass-bottle soda and it's a complete order, no extra planning required.
